Who am I?

If you’re here, you probably want more than a list of technologies, or a job title.

I go by a few aliases online (joprocorp or Arcadia_sama) but behind them is simply me: a French software engineer and web developer. I discovered programming as a teenager, and what began as experimentation quickly turned into a lasting passion.

My academic path evolved naturally alongside this mindset, from management and accounting toward computer science and engineering. I was drawn to the mix of structure, logic, and problem-solving, and to understanding systems as a whole. From code, to decisions, constraints, and human interactions.

Outside of software, I slow down quite a bit. I enjoy walking through parks, observing nature and people, paying attention to how things move and interact. I listen to music a lot, and I read and write extensively from essays and scientific articles to fantasy and science fiction.

In three words, how do you see yourself?

Trying to summarize a person is not always a very simple exercise. It's a bit similar answering What are your greatest strengths and weakenesses? Still, a few words can help set expectations and give some context before diving deeper. So! Here we go.

01Curious

I’m driven by a need to understand how things work under the hood. I like digging into systems, questioning decisions, and learning by building.

02Independent

I enjoy figuring things out on my own and taking ownership of what I build. I’m comfortable exploring, experimenting, and forming my own opinions instead of blindly following conventions.

03Listening

I make a conscious effort to listen to people, constraints, and context first before deciding how to move forward or what to build.
